The club typically has 1-2 teams that play in various coed leagues throughout the year while also participating in local coed tournaments such as Kick4ACure, Tri-City Life Champions Cup, Perpetual Motions World Cup, etc.
The men's program is run jointly between Wellington RFC and our partners, FFC Bulls (Elmira) that share the same vision when it comes to soccer. The teams participate in Grand River Soccer Leagues various divisions and tournament play in Southern Ontario.
As of September 2020, Zsolt Varga will be the clubs first coach fully trained in the Community Stream through Ontario Soccer.
Zsolt is already a C-License Trained coach and possesses the Goalkeeper Training and Soccer Fitness Trained Dipoloma's.
His next steps are to pursue the Children's License followed by the Youth License.
The 2020 edition of Kick4ACure was a memorable one. With some tough competition, new faces, and some unique challenges, we persevered and made it to the semi-finals. It was an intense game that had a heartbreaking ending as we were scored on with 2 minutes to go and got knocked out by a score of 0-1.

On May 4, 2019, Wellington RFC is going to be partaking in the Tri-City Life Champions Cup in Cambridge, ON from 11:30am to 6:30pm.

Another year, another final. After a hard fought round-robin, the A team lost one of it's girls due to injury and had to play the rest of the playoffs without any female subs. The team played well under the circumstances and lost a heart breaker in the finals by a score of 0-1 to Boca Jrs.
Kick4ACure is a charity co-ed soccer tournament launched in 2013 by Grand River Soccer Club to raise funds for the Grand River Hospital Foundation.
Since 2013, the tournament has raised over $83,000 and will likely surpass the $100,000 mark in 2019.
Congratulations to the men and women that participated in Perpetual Motions annual World Cup Co-ed Tournament.
The squad finished 2nd place in the round-robin portion with a 3W-1L record and continued their strong play with a 2-1 semi-final victory, followed up with a 7-1 drubbing of their opponent in the finals!

Congratulations to the 'B' team for their second place finish this past Family Day.
The team went into the finals riding a 3W-1T record from round-robin play before losing a heart breaker to the 2017 champions by a score of 1-3 in the finals.

The team started slow but rebounded as the day went on to sneak into the playoffs via H2H results.
In the semis, the team won a nail biter in the shootout before succumbing to Air Force Juan's in the finals 2-3.

The team was up against a very tough opponent who did not make it easy. The finals were tense with an El Classico feel about it as two heavy weights dueled it out for the right to be champions.
After a fraught 25 minutes, Wellington RFC came out on-top by a score of 3-1.

The team faced a tough opponent in the finals and needed a late goal to force a penalty shootout. Ben Frey stood on his head and managed to stop all 5 shots he faced in a 3-2 win over Strikers FC.
